Our Mission
Saving Lives Bear Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was created to ensure that our community has local control over emergency medical and fire response services. For too long, Bear Valley has relied on limited county resources that result in delayed medical care, delayed Advanced Life Support response and insufficient Fire Protection. Our vision is to bring Advanced Life Support Paramedics and a professional Fire Protection Department directly under local leadership. Currently EMS and Fire are run under the Public Safety Sheriff's Department. Together we can place licensed Paramedics in Western Alpine County!
We are committed to supporting Alpine County with Advanced Life Support, high quality patient care, lifesaving equipment and medications. This would result in faster response times where they are needed most... right here in Bear Valley. This community-driven effort will empower residents to shape the future of emergency services ensuring that every second counts when lives are on the line!
